Fielder Green Associates helped Shropshire Council manage activities across 20 venues for over 12 years, including the delivery of catering build and retail fit-out for The Meres Boathouse visitor centre; interior fit-out of Ludlow V.I.C.; retail for Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, and Acton Scott Historic Working Farm.

The Secret Hills Discovery Centre is housed in an extraordinary grass-roofed building designed to echo the hill forts in the surrounding Shropshire countryside. The brief was to oversee the original development of this prestigious centre, with responsibility for the fit-out specification of the building – from the overview of architect’s plans, through to opening day.

Having successfully met all deadlines and satisfied all requirements, the FGA team was also asked by Shropshire Council to open and operate the Discovery Centre for an initial period and to support their staff development and training and take responsibility for the marketing over a two year period.
